Together we will look at the amazing scripture and learn to break the chains of un-forgiveness.

When Christians Sing the Blues

Thousands of Christians suffer from depression. Many other Christians mistakenly believe true Christians do not get depressed. This attitude often adds to the suffering of those who hurt. Depression affects a person mentally, spiritually and physically, greatly impacting their lives and the lives of those who love them. This class will discuss: What is depression? How does depression affect us mentally, spiritually and physically? What can be done to overcome depression? Should Christians use medication to treat depression? How do I help Christians that are depressed?

Deeper with Christ

It has often been said that in order to make disciples, we must first be disciples. To be a disciple of Jesus is to take a lifelong journey of abiding with Jesus, listening to Jesus, and going deeper with Jesus. We will discuss various spiritual practices that help us do just that, with particular attention to cultivating a life of prayer. Our hope is to develop a missional spirituality that is rooted in Christ and sends us in the power of Christ.
