To find out more and hear what exciting things God is doing in this part of the world please join our first virtual Meet the Missionary event on January 29th at 7:30pm with some of our Asian mission partners.
Bridges of Hope is a network of churches, individuals and organizations that are working together to reach SE Asia*.
Who are they working with in SE Asia? The people here were the first ones in their country to embrace Islam. There are around 3.5 million people in the area and less than 1000 known believers with no indigenous church established.
After 30 years of civil war, a massive Tsunami crashed upon their shores leaving at least 150,000 people dead, people that had never had the chance to hear the good news of Jesus.
FBCR partners with L*, T*, S* and I* as they minister to these people…
L* teaches and advises members of local tribes how to produce products that can be sold in the larger city markets of Southeast Asia. He uses these contacts as a bridge to introduce the people there to the love of Jesus. T* is the co-founder and principal of an elementary school and uses her work with students and their families to share the Gospel.
S* and I* ministries include a small school that teaches from a Christian perspective and television production programming in their native language.
