Music & WOrship Ministry Opportunities

Celebration Choir

Celebration Choir leads our 9:30 Celebration Worship Service. This group is made up of volunteers who have a heart to serve, love the Lord, and are committed to using their talents to lift up the name of Jesus in worship.

Celebration Orchestra

The Celebration Orchestra is a talented group of instrumentalists who share their musical gifts, along with our choir, to lead our 9:30 Celebration service and at special events like CAROLS at Christmas.

Student Choir

Student Choir is a great means for students to connect to God and others through music. They often help lead Sunday morning worship, play a major part in CAROLS each December and present The Sweet Show as a fundraiser. Each school year is capped off with a Music/Mission tour in the summer.

Kidsing

KidSing's mission is to equip and encourage a new generation of worshipful hearts. In a fun, energetic environment, we sing and use a variety of instruments, rhythm activities and games to encourage kids to love worship and music in all its forms. We strive to engender a life-long love of worshipping Jesus! It is for kids 3 years (by September 1) through 6th grade.

KidSing

Carols

CAROLS is our annual Christmas production featuring our choir and orchestra, kids and students, and special guests. This production includes music and drama that celebrates the birth of Jesus. Some members of the CAROLS production join our choir and orchestra just for CAROLS while others choose to be part of the drama team. Please plan to join us this year.

Media/Tech Team

The production and tech team at First Baptist Richardson is responsible for supporting our pastors and worship ministries to create meaningful services every week. There are various ways to serve on this team that include operating cameras as well as running sound, lighting, and presentation software.
